4EAT to 6MT conversion
Just wanted to post up some interesting numbers for a direct comparison between a fully built IPT 4EAT and a 6MT from an 06 STI that was just completed.
Using the same tuner (Bobby at PRE), same dyno, and very similar atmospheric/weather conditions.
IPT 4EAT - 300.1hp/317tq
6MT - 366.8hp/383tq
Hope to have the latest dyno chart up very soon.

A gain of 66hp/lb.ft.? Wow. So to be sure I understand, those power increases were a direct result of merely changing from the 4spd auto to the STi manual 'box? No other changes to to the driveline/motor/etc.? That slushbox seems to have sapped quite a bit of power. What type of dyno was used to record those numbers?
