well i have a 2004 wrx and i have about 5000 miles on it. No problems, and it shifts pretty smooooooth....but i think the 2004 and the 2003 trannies are the same, and they fixed the problem on the 2003 models......

glad u asked that question.

i would also like to know this

although with anything. if you double the amount of hp and torgue in a car, the tranny is definately losing some of its life span
right?

uh. i agree. the 03s have the same trannies as the 04s. this is what i've heard.

i don't think it shifts really smooth. it's only fairly decent.
