yeah but.... daily drivable??? Gas milage???

you could daily drive a 350whp WRX.

More daily driveable than a 350whp wrx, I've known a few people with 100k mi + on their supercharged 'stangs w/out the pulley. 350 "wheel" hp on a wrx is seriously pushing it.

With the pulley, its still very driveable, but depending on how hard you drive it it could grenade itself if you don't upgrade the fuel components to go along with the extra hp a light weight pulley will give you.

yea i met this guy pushing 700 hp in a black 03 cobra with a kenne bell... he drives it all over. psychopath. 6 speed helps the gas mileage. i would not allow myself that kind of power. im known to crash cars... but again there are many 500+ hp street driven cobras

^^exactly, apples and oranges, stock for stock a wrx can hang with a 99-04 GT, but with just a few bolt ons, drag suspension, slicks and skinnies the GT can run in the 12's, it'll take a fully built(bigger turbo/injectors/pump) wrx to accomplish that kind of time slip

I'm tired of all this WRX vs. Mustang crap, let's face it, when the wrx came out and laid down a low 14 all the mustang guys crapped their panties cause that's what a stock GT runs, and the sh*t talking began, but the bottom line is the wrx wasn't built with drag racing in mind, awd isn't meant for drag racing, do you see any all out drag cars with awd(top fuel, funny car, etc.....), rwd is the only drivetrain layout that works best in drag racing.

The only way it will even be close is if he gets a really crappy launch.

I've beaten a Mach1 at school (pretty cool kid I sit next to in my econ class) with Exhaust and intake and I beat a Saleen (not sure if it was supercharged or not) from a light. I also got absolutely raped by a KB Cobra in ways that aren't suitable to discuss on a forum potentially viewed by minors.

You also own an STi. I believe he said that he had a standard WRX.

As for your beating by a Cobra, I'm assuming it left an opening akin to being able to throw a hot dog down a hallway? :rotfl:

Those Cobras can be nasty......VERY nasty.

bolt on mach 1's are just as fast as the 03 cobra stock and hook better from a stop. gears and exhaust = mid to high 12's.

You'll be better off selling closer to spring. You can also make more money when you sell because there will be a higher demand for rwd cars.....
