I own a stock 2004 f150 lightning. 390 hp around 330 to the wheels. Isn't this the same cobra motor with a blower. I call bull**** on you cause thats what you are.

Lightning is a 5.4L with a supercharger....

Cobra is 4.6L with a supercharger...

the shelby cobra coming out is the 5.4 dohc w/ supercharger (same as the Ford GT engine) alssoooo underrated. near 550hp stock. you'll be seeing 1000hp shelbys sooner than you think.

I hate to bust your bubble over there, but these mustangs are NOT in stock form as they were from the factory.......so is that what it takes for your "godly mustang" to keep up with a N/A Honda Civic SI powered FACTORY, BONE STOCK car? LMAO thats a good one.......and about your 10L mustang........I'd like to point out the fact that right in the title it clearly states "CONCEPT," meaning this car is NOT being produced for consumers to buy, and it may not EVER see production for that matter.

Here's another interesting bit of info on your 10L Mustang CONCEPT......in the stats for that car it states that the engine is producing about 85.5Bhp per liter of displacement.......Well, for comparison sake.....My conservatively tuned 2.0L Subaru (as it sits right now) is producing 210awhp.....so lets do the math...... 2.0L / 210awhp(NOT Bhp) = 105Whp per liter, OR roughly 122Bhp per liter. That mustang doesnt look so appealing now does it? 8)

 

And also the fact that the Civic is powered by an engine that is more than 6 times smaller than the Ford........and again it is a production engine that can be purchased for less than $2000. I guarantee you can create a replica of that engine for less than......hmmmm let me calculate it.....

The funny thing is I know what I have, just thought the cobra had the same motor. I have always thought of the mustang a womens car since my mom drives one and my girlfriend and about half of the sixteen year old girls in this country do. January 04 edition of Hotrod Magazine tested new Cobra (390hp) vs STi (300hp) and......

STi beat the cobra in the 1/4, and at the track and in price.

That is Stock Vs Stock.

I believe the STi is the only Japanese car that has ever been put on the cover of HotRod Magazine.

 

My friend told me about this but I didn't believe him at first. I guess 2002 wrx for sale will say how hotrod is a crappy bias magazine towards American cars. lol
