Dunno if anyone here has different opinions, but if itis a single nozzle, I always try to keep it as close to the throttle body as possible. I honestly have not looked at my WRX yet to see where there is room for it, but I would look in that area. You certainly do not want it BEFORE the turbo (it will erode the blades on it).

You were able to run 17 psi on the stock up pipe with no issues? I treid 18 psi on 116 race fuel and it threw a high EGT code and pulled timing . I am doing the up pipe, downpipe and cat back shortly and will go from there . I want low 13's, high 12's on the stock turbo before swapping it out!!!

I love my car
Well i finally got my car back up and runnin again....just fitted some JE 92.25 mm forge pistons with forge rods with a new crankshaft and new internal parts, got my heads ported and polished and my car tuned. So i haven't been able to run her hard yet I'm still puttin some mileage on it first but i was tempted to run a quarter mile so i went out to the track and i ran and impressive
12.64 @ 121 mph
60 @ 1.756
HKS intake
Arc larger radiator
Arc top mount intercooler
Oil cooler
twin plate clutch
light weight flywheel
racing transmission
550 cc injectors
@ 14 psi
When I finish puttin some more mileage on her i have tho NOS kit to install that should give me one second off.
then my next step wood be a turbo upgrade and a larger intercooler
My scanner aint working so i cant post the time slip so imma do it at a friends and get it on here

This was I think at around 2-3000 ft. Somewhere in there. LACR. Everyone says its a crappy track. My times should get better, its the first stick I've ever driven.
By the time I realized you go alot faster if you shift before redline they closed the track.

Not bad at all for your first stick and the altitude!!! As for shifting, I shift right before it stops pulling lol. Don't know the RPM since I do everything by feel- always have with all my cars at the track and have always run good #'s for what was done to them (12.9@102 in a stock DSM with an MBC, hollowed cat and catback ). You could probably pick up a couple of tenths if you shift before redline, they don't have a lot of pull up there- especially with the stock exhaust and cats.

I ran last night. Last track night of the year here. Fastest run was a 13.96@ 100.4. Mods: Stromung turboback, helix uppipe, cobb stage 2. My launch was killing me 2.064 60'. I think the car has 13.5-13.6 if i fix my launch. What do you guys think? I was trying to launch at 4500 to 5k but most of the time i screwed it up.

Where did you go? Which 1/4 mile track is up there?
Yup, work on that 60' and you'll have a better idea of what your car is capable of. I'd agree with at least 13.5.

Muncie Drag. Rumor has it that there will be an 1/8th mile going in by the airport here.
I was there with 2 other subies. 1 ran 13.923, the other was having trouble but ripped a 12.8 last time he was there and there was also an STi there that ran 13 flat.
