Post Your 1/4 mile times/mph, car, and mods!!!
#151
I don't know if it's shocking ... I think the times were right where they should be ... I didn't mod anything else other then what I had listed, no hoses or pullies ... I did however remove the spare/jack/tool kit (-30lbs_uberlightweightmod) and make my passes with the low fuel light on ... If anything I think the ultra low fuel helps shave more lbs then anything else ... I was shifting 1-2 (7300), 2-3 (7100), 3-4 (6900/6950) ... I had initially tried running out all the gears to 7300, but found it was down in the mph (high 99's/low 100's) ...

hello, here in Orlando it was Funday Sunday this past weekend and i ran my fastest time to date. 13.6 @ 99.2. all of my exhaust is HKS (up & down pipe and Hyper catback). i replaced the stock intercooler with one off an STI (big brother). i have a GFB BOV and MBC. i have done the air intake silencer delete with the addtion of a K&N filter. who needs engine management? i of course only use the MBC at the track

I don't have my '06 STI yet but I'm working on it.
What I've seen so far on this post is most impressive. It would appear that a stock STI should run in the mid 13's. Has anyone tried running a little bit of NOS? I was thinking of about a 30 to 50 hp shot just to get it into the high 12's. I'm too chicken to get into the engine when I don't know diddly squat about all these computor controls and the details involved. I'm not convinced it's that easy.
