First Time To The Track
hey guys , i have a 04 WRX got 2800 miles when i went to the track fri nite.
here are the times , Royal Purple fluids and removed the silencer, i havnt been on the track in years and basically was trying to get a hold on the launch.any good pointers and techniques of slipping the clutch leme know. thanks

1.7's is the 60' to shoot for. You can do a search on "Launching" and probably come up with the proper technique for launching. The way I launch.....
Feather throttle between 4-4500 rpm
When last yellow light comes on, floor the gas & start slipping the clutch
Once the car is moving, let out on the clutch faster. This part is the key, as too fast & you'll bog out. Too slow, and you'll smell your clutch the rest of the night!
I get consistent 1.8 60' times using that technique.
Keep practicing & it'll just become automatic!
