Doing my first track day...do i need to prep my track tires?

I have some michelin N22 tires that have been sitting on their side unwrapped for about a year. I plan on useing them on my track day coming up, do i need to do anything to prep them? From what ive been told they are basically like a hoosier road race tire(sorry i know thats alittle broad).

yeah man if they're N22 slicks they should already be fine you dont need to shave them if they're like hoosiers because, unlike a regular Rcomp, they come from the factory ready to sustain race conditions.
