Pre-Prep: Thunderhill 8/27/03 (South Bay / Peninsula)
Hi Everyone,
Just curious to know if anyone is interested in doing some prep work to your cars before the event (even those who just want to see what's going on). I propose to meet during the MVKK (does it even exist anymore).
Anyone interested? I just had my alignment done, but I'm willing to bring tools, lights and some "elbow grease" to help anyone else out ... swap pads, rotors, bleed brakes, flush brakes ...

Hi 4XREX,
I've tried two different types and they both sucked. the problem is that is hard to get a good vacuum seal to pull the fluid out. Its much faster and easier if you has someone simply pump the brakes. All I ended up using from those kits was a setup clear hoses ... I used a empty water bottle to drain the fluid and watch it change colors and pump out the air. ... don't forget to monitor the brake fluid resovoir and make sure there's enough brake fluid (other wise you'll pump air into the system).
