Ummm alot, was that specific enough? lol
I don't know the compression ratios or anything, but WRX is 2.0l turbo with open deck and cast internals, basically goes boom if you go too far over stock boost.
STI is like god by comparison. Closed deck, forged internals, 2.5l, damned spiffy 6-speed transmission, beafier axles, beafier rear diff, brakes the size of a satelite dish, some if not all models have a split front to rear center differential so driver can control it, enough to make it oversteer instead of understeer. Tons more little differences, it's just about a different car.
