Blitz LM filter.... makes a difference?
I just got the Blitz LM filter installed yesterday...
to be honest, i didn't feel any difference in response or anything.... is it because it's not a short ram? My car is stock except the Blitz BOV....
Anyone using the same product? Tell me how you guys feel before and after! thanks!

the blitz LM is a cone type filter right? It looks like a short ram to me
But eitherway an intake will not add any HP alone. You need to have your engine managment system tuned to it, and/or convert to MAP and retune

yeah the Blitz LM is a cone type filter.....
it is not a short ram because it uses the stock ram... basically you take off the black filter box and attach the cone filter to the stock ram.....
i can really hear the LM filter sucking air.....
i guess i will have to try some high rpm to see if that thing makes a difference...

You'll hear it "sucking air" as your turbo is spooling up and more so in 3rd gear and up, from about 3kRPM and up.
It's possible and some confirm this while other want proof in the form of dyno or track times... But people say that with a short ram that throtle response improves some and that spoolup speeds up by about 150-300RPM. Of course that is just hearsay and I dont believe in intakes personally until I reach some higher HP levels.
