Engine Swap

Okay, I was just wondering what all is involved in an engine swap from the stock 2.2L to a 2.0L WRX engine. The transmission is an automatc, everything is pretty much stock. How much additional work is needed? Will it mount up to a 2.2L transmission?

I have about 90k on the current engine and want to swap as I love the little hatchback, but it lacks some power. There is a twin turbo JDM engine up for sale, and I want to put it in my car. Any info is great. Please let me know whats up with this kind of transplant.

this belongs in conversion forums. BUT ALOT of work is involved, the twin turbo just will not fit either. you will need the entire engine, cooling system, oiling system every bit of wiring, perhaps entire dashboard. the tranny should bolt up though. best bet would be to swap a 2.5 sohc from a newer rs or forester or outback into it, you would be able to run it off your stock ecu also.
