Looking to borrow engine hoist and engine stand for swap

In a couple weeks I will be removing and swapping engines. I need to see if anyone here can let me borrow at the least an engine hoist to pick my motor out and then pick the motor from the wrx and put that into my RS. Probably looking at borrowing it for at least 3 weeks. Project has a deadline of Nov 10th, so I WILL be pulling my motor out on the OCT 14th, probably BOTH motors on that day to get it done.

If you got one that I can borrow, let me know please!

Dude... I've got on in my garage right now that I have to take back to newark... no kidding.

And my engine stand is currently empty. It's all yours as long as you need it. It held my caddy motor so I'm sure it'll do fine with the suby motor. LOL!

Do you have a way of bringing it down?

That would be perfect.

Basically I want to pull the WRX motor, and transmission in one shot. Separate the Trans on the ground. Put the WRX motor on the stand. Clean it, do the 105k service on it. Pull the RS Motor, put it on the ground. Put WRX motor into car.

If I can do that in 1 day, I'll be way ahead on this swap.

It'll handle that no problem. I pulled my caddy motor and trans out in one shot and I bet the trans alone out ways the complete WRX set up.

I can probably borrow my brother's truck. Unless someone on i-club owns a truck and wants to make the trip with me.

I'd be willing to drive up to grab it, if need be. I can take the truck to work, and head over after work to your place.

Go talk to Ian, Gagan, he has pauls engine stand and cherry picker. He has to let friends borrow it while Paul is out of town, so just hit him up and take it from him. LOL
