Is the automatic in a 1999 2.5rs the 4EAT used in the auto wrx's? Can i toss a ej20t

Hey everyone....i am looking to make a daily driver 2.5rs . I want a automatic for sure and found a nice 2.5rs auto (1999) . I am curious if i can toss a ebay ej20 turbo motor into the car with that tranny wiht a few mods and be quick and reliable? They are the same bolt pattern setup right? Is the RS's 4eat at least as strong if not the same? I know the final drive is different. Could i pump 300hp through it if not a bit more...like the wrx guys do?
