FS Nor Cal: 2000 Impreza 2.5RS 4EAT Automatic BRP
Here I have a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS that I have had for just over 2 years, purchased from a car dealership in L.A. from REM Auto. It Is my wifes car and we are the 3rd owner. Mileage is at 227,xxx. The previous owner was an older person (as I was told) and there was a lot of commuting miles on it, probably the first owner. The car was kept clean and well taken care of and has not been hot rodded or off roaded. The car is peppy and accelerates quickly. Now on with the Goods and the Bads.
SOLD!!
Will Be adding these things within the next couple months if car doesn't sell,
Not in any particular order:
1) Headers and gaskets
2) JDM STi Front Lip and Painted
I just changed the Oil/ Oil Filter, had a Transmission Flush and new filter, Installed new NGK Spark Plugs, and Replaced the Fuel Filter
Good:
1) Recently Painted Rota Wheels with Grimmspeed BBS Gold, and fixed curb damage. (will have to post new pics soon)
2) When I purchased it, The car had full service work done (oil, trans, fluids changed) (Timing Belt, Alt Belt, and AC Belt changed) (brake pads changed and brakes inspected).
3) Painted the Hood scoop and JDM 22B Vents which fit perfect!
4) Flushed and changed Brake Fluid with ATE Super Blue Racing Fluid
5) Rota Torque 17x7.5 Rims and Low Profile Bridgestone Potenza RE960 All Season Tires, which every 2k miles were Rotated ( 50% of tread left, and it rains here A LOT and always had excellent traction and good in some snow)
6) 6 1/2" (4) Sony Xplode 300 watt Speakers
7) Oil Changed every 3-4k Miles and other fluids topped off or inspected periodically.
8) Hard to find 00' 2.5RS 4 door 4eat in great condition, good family car with 1 or 2 children (as thats what it was used for)
9) Yellow Film on Fog Lights
10) Not Sure if its a good or bad thing but painted the brake calipers Pink and rear tow hook Pink and clear coated them using High Temp Paint.
*I am willing to Re-Paint them if the buyer wants in a different standard color, but would need a down payment of some sort so I know that the person will purchase the car.
11) Washed once every week or two depending on how much rain has been coming down, Waxed every couple months.
12) Sun roof is in Working Condition
13) Motor starts and runs great and have never had an issue (barely an oil leak from the back side of block, the oil is always close to the max fill every oil change)
14) Spark Plugs changed every 5-6 months
15) Battery Recently Replaced
16) Has a Heater Plug attached to the block under the car. (for those cold areas)(it was attached when I purchased the car)
17) Interior is in Great Condition
18) Interior and Exterior lights are in perfect working order.
19) Pink Subaru stars emblem on front grill
20) No Mods to the car other than some small cosmetics
21) Sony Xplode CD Head Unit
22) K&N Performance Air Filter
23) Clear Corner Lights
24) Have Fixed the Oil leak with some additive recently, the past few days I have not noticed any oil on the ground.
25) Last year had an All-Wheel Alignment and car still drives straight
Not So Good:
1) Has small dents on both sides of the car, they were there when I bought it, from the looks of the dents I would say it was from shopping carts or door dings in parking lots.
2) Small dent right under right rear brake light, have no idea how it happened but was yet another thing that was there when I bought the car.
3) The piping at the end of the Header has a small leak.
4) 227,xxx Miles on both the transmission and motor, to some that can be a problem, this car has been taken care of with what funds were available and is in good working condition.
5) The notorious rust patch on the rear right quarter panel above the wheel, the opposite side was mostly fixed. The rust has been touched up and shouldn't spread, I took off the rubber fender lip liner that causes this problem (build up of dirt and grime over time causes the rust).
