94 EJ18 into a 96 EJ18

My 176k mile 1.8L has a blown piston ring and is eating oil like no tomorrow. I found a local place that has another 1.8L but its out of a 94. Would my mechanic run into any problems swapping a 94 engine into a 96 chassis? Any conflicts involving OBDI and OBDII or anything else I should be aware of?

Thank you!

Jason

All you need to swap is just the long block. (Heads, and Block)

then use all your intake manifold stuff and you will be fine.
