Borla header for EJ18
where can i find a borla header for my car? i know they exist b/c i have the p/n, but borla says its for the 2.2/2.5l motors. can anyone help me?

The headers will fit on any 2-port (per head) engine, beit EJ15, EJ16, EJ18, EJ20, EJ22 or EJ25. Block width are all the same.
For US markets single port heads were introduced, so it seems, but in Europe all Legacy, Impreza and Forester motors have dual exhaust port heads.

So has anybody actually succesfully installed a dual port set on an EJ18 block? I drive a 1.8 and will get Borlas pretty soon but there are still doubts in my mind that they won't line up or the hole patterns may be different. Also, wouldn't the exhaust ports on the 1.8 be quite a bit smaller than the 2.5s? Would that affect flow in any way??

Its a 95, and ya they grumble nicely, doesnt sound at all like a 1.8l. The install is ok, its not perfect, but ive never heard of a borla installing 100% perfect, just took a little manuvering to get it onto the bolts on the engine... Worst case scenario you might end up having to dremel one of the bolt holes a little if you get a badly made one, but thats about it.
