Rare 2001 Sedona Red RS - $10,000
*NEW info brought to my attention from carfax/vehix:
"The odometer read 46000 miles, it was given a not actual mileage title with the note that any mileage reported after 2/11/2002 is potentially unreliable.
The car was issued a Junk Title followed by a Dismantled Title and finally a Rebuilt Title on August of 2002. It was NOT issued a Salvage Title.
Junk Title
A Junk Title is issued on a vehicle damaged to the extent that the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation exceeds its fair market value; or a vehicle that has been declared a Total Loss by an insurer or other state or jurisdiction. Some states treat Junk titles the same as Salvage but the majority use this title to indicate that a vehicle is not road worthy and cannot be titled again in that state.
Dismantled Title
The vehicle sustained major damage to one or more major component parts and the cost of repairing the vehicle for safe operation exceeds its fair market value. When a Dismantled title is issued, the vehicle may be used only for parts or scrap metal. It cannot be re-titled or returned to the road.
Rebuilt/Reconstructed Title
A Rebuilt/Reconstructed vehicle is a salvage vehicle that has been repaired and restored to operation. These vehicles are often severely damaged before they are rebuilt and refurbished parts are typically used during reconstruction. In most states, an inspection of the vehicle is required before the vehicle is allowed to return to the road."
The car still has the following:
2002 WRX seats (front and rear)
Manual gearbox
Carbon Fiber radio trim
All new exterior Sedona paint
- car was a recovery theft (joyriding, broken windows, interior seats and radio were stolen, and car was excessively keyed). All parts fixed and/or replaced.
Car runs flawless.
Car is in the San Diego County Area
