Is a WRX a wise choice for me at my age? (was: Want some advice please)
Its interesting that ipozestu pointed out this car earlier:

Now that Adam's RS has progressed to a track car, his daily driver is a Forester XT. Of course it wasn't long before they had up to STi power with some donor STi and WRX parts.

^Adam took it out on the track for the first time this last weekend at Infineon and was very happy with how well it performed.
A Forester could be a very interesting car to have, and much more practical that a sedan.

Honestly, I'm not worried about the "attention-grabbing" factor, because I won't be driving fast or unsafely. But the interior room and ground clearance aspets are good. GC is a big plus for me since I live in NY.
And thanks again for the help, guys!

Right now, I'm deciding between the following cars/trucks:
Forester
Impreza WRX Wagon
Jeep Wrangler (I've been around off-roading since I was born)
Small pickup truck, example = Toyota Tacoma.
Gotta sort out my wants/needs.

You've gotta decide which one is the most practical, especially after you graduate from high school.
I'm not hating or anything but I'd rather go with the Subarus than the other cars just for safety purposes IMO.

Good point, dSpec. I will own this car/truck for a while, so it will have to deal with college life. And I know that the Subarus and pickups can take a beating, but I'm not sure about the Jeeps.
That's another thing...the Wranglers are not practical at all. No rear seat room, lousy mileage with off-road equipment, and no locking storage. Pass on the Jeep!
Narrowed it down to:
Forester
Impreza WRX Wagon
Toyota Tacoma
Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon
Ford Ranger
Leaning towards a Subaru right now. If only it weren't for this stupid snow here in NY, I'd be getting a Subaru. How much snow can the Subaru's get through?

I am at the decision stage now. I'm hoping to make it over this week, because I have a school vacation...no school all week. I'd really like to start shopping around very soon.
