Saw a Chevrolet SSR
This is what the SSR was designed to be, a cruiser. Somthing to take out and have a nice drive, fun to look at, some oomph when needed, and decent gas mileage. They build them in the city I live in and I see them all the time. GM exec's. GM needs to realize that people want more power out of the SSR. It needs to have a performance version, with the Z06 LS1 or an LS2 with a 6 speed manual, lower suspension, bigger wheels, and a little louder exhaust note. Then it would reach to more consumers. It would look fast and go fast. It would compete with the lightning, hemi, and not get spanked so badly by the SRT 10 Ram. Too bad Luntz dosnt read this forum.

In spite of the comments, that truck gets plenty of attention! I had the chance to drive one and every stop required me to answer questions about the vehicle. People would give me thumbs up, follow me, I thought for a minute I was in my STi with all of the attention it draws. It will sell in spite of the cost, looks etc, trust me on that one. As far as practical, no way. Cost , no comment. Power is ok, not great but it will get you a ticket, get you killed just like any other vehicle. With traction off, power-slides are great!
