Audi RS-6

Sorry if someone has already posted about this car but I saw one of these bad boys parked on Melrose Ave. in Hollywood last week and thought nothing of it (looked mean though). Then I saw one at the L.A auto show...

450hp 4.2 V8 Bi-turbo
0-60 4.6sec
60-0 in 3 sec

"The 2003 RS6 is the fastest street-legal Audi ever."

yeah, they're pretty fearsome. they kicked some serious butt in the SCCA Speed GT series racing against Porsches, Corvettes, and M3s. they've got so much damn power, that they were burning out the tires and brakes in just a handful of laps.

that and the Quattro is why they took every freakin' holeshot the whole season in SCCA racing!

I'd buy a S4 Avant & cram the rs6's engine under the hood & go Viper hunting. Audi's are sweet.

I hate to point this out... but if you did that, you'd end up spending more than it would cost you to just get the Viper and make IT an Audi killer!

But how many Viper owners get satisfaction from beating Audi Avants? Probably not too many. Now, consider that the Viper owner could be beaten by that same Audi wagon w/ wife & infant in cool A/C! I know that It wouldn't be cheap. But it would be the ultimate luxo sleeper.

Someone posted a "drifting" video here a few months back that featured several Audi Avant wagons doing serious drifts, burnouts and donuts, so clearly you're not the only one interesting in modding one
