I can't tell you my source but I know someone that has been driving one of the test sti's with several different ecu's in it and has never once run into a knock problem.

i agree, however, i was just pointing out what is more important in a race. quite frankly, i like the evolution 7 and the evolution 8 and the STi, they're all great cars. and i know that the evolution series mitsubishi's are the best cars that mitsubishi's ever built and are engineered to perfection as well as subaru's WRX's.
