the other night when I was driving home on my road (small, back country road) my radar detector went off. THis was strange because its never gotten a flase alarm there before, and there was obviously no cop around. The only other car near me was a Lexus SUV of some sort. I read online that Lexus offers a Dynamic Laser Cruise Control which scans 600+ points. Has anyone heard of this type of cruise control setting off radar detectors (K/Ka band)?

This thought actually occured to me a few weeks ago, but I have neither a radar detector nor access to a vehicle equipped w/ active cruise
