I know quite a few people who drive VW's and so far there seems to be nothing but problems with them. The R32 is a nice car on paper and all, but I guess we'll have to see how it does with some time.

Before i got my r32, i planned on buying an STI, and i still plan on it a little later because the R32 was built only for this year, but trust me I intend on getting me an STI with or without my wifes approval
