fallout is most evident on white cars-
the rolling technique is good- i flatten mine over and twist it and fold again.
over the counter stuff is okay(mequiars, mothers) but ACS has some good clay/lube. NAPA also sells the huge bar of clay(20 bucks or so)
usually i wash my car really good 1st, rinse, then spray the lubricant directly over the wet surface.
*be sure to remove fallout often. if not it will leave "pits" in your paint. not much of an issue with white cars- but in darker colors it can show wax stuck inside the pits.
when you clay your hood try doing half- then rinsing the hood. compare the 2 sides. you will see an awesome difference!
