JW. im looking at the new zo6. all most bought 04, but my cousin sold me on the STI. thinking real hard about the new z06(my girl even said she'll help with the payment. my STI is paid-off,so my question is what do you guys thing i should do?BTW,ive been looking at the new SHELBY COBRA.

 

o'ya, will have my STI til she cant go any more. when i first bought her i knew i was going to put some money in her. always want a car to modify. she will always be #1 even if i by an american muslce car.

 

new cobra for sure. that motor os gonna be AMAZING. im talking 600+ whp with just boltons.

The corvette has decades of highest level race development in its chassis... I bet the C6 Z06 lays better lap times than the Cobra on any track in the world given the same conditions and driver skill.

 

Get the Vette and be done with it. If you get the skyline you'll want to mod it and it still won't touch the vette.

The new Z06 is going to be a great car, but it won't be cheap. Especially not the first couple of years. They will also likely be impossible to find as existing corvette junkies are already calling dibs like in that Saturn commercial.

The new Shelby Cobra (mustang) is also going to be nice, and expensive plus remember, solid rear axle.

 

want the vette. 500/500. if i get the skyline or even the shelby cobra im going to want to mod it. price wise, vette and skyline are going to be twice as much as the cobra.

but not really in a hurry to get one. still enjoy driving my STI. i dont think ill ever get bored with her.

 

Say, where can I read up on the new slyline? I know it is rumored to come out as a 2007 model but never really heard if it was staying infiniti badged or going to Nissan here. Any links?

God, that second concept of Skyline is what the v.9 STi should be. That design is pure sex. I'd make the headlights a little less wide though...

 

I heard the new z06 is supposed to be 70 base, but oh well, still expensive as hell.
