you or significant other in the medical field?
Hey Ray, sorry to hear that man - I think you're doing the right thing though by doing the things you like to do - so I hope all goes well.
As far as the self diagnosis goes - probably not a great idea. WebMD exists, but it's no doctor despite the title. Getting an actual diagnosis from an actual specialist is the right way to go about it. My brother in law is a doctor in internal medicine and he says the thing he really dislikes is WebMD and Wikipedia, because people read it and they are misdiagnosing themselves - though sometimes it can be right, most of the time it isn't.

Lol... isn't that the truth. Mine still does that, maybe more because of the knowledge. Always making me go to the Dr.
Sorry to hear Ray, my dad has some crazy degen. discs in his lower back. Been doing ok for at least 10 years without surgery and just doing exercises and a few anti-inflammatory's....Good luck tho bro.

I just saw a patient yesterday at the physical therapy office yesterday with degen. disk disease in their neck as well. Middle-aged guy with a lot of neck pain. Hope you get it all worked out!

I'm no doctor, so I can't tell you to do anything, but I can tell you that i've seen a couple cases similar to this and the majority of the time poor posture is the culprit. Fixing posture and some stretches/exercises have helped people with similar conditions.
My wife is an OR nurse and I can totally relate to the OP. I get boils quite often and every time I do, she throws out all these crazy worst case scenarios. "It could be cancerous" or "you can get a staff infection" or "it can turn into an abcess".
