How did you meet your significant other? (hand = not a S.O.)
To all the BAIC'ers in relationships, how did you meet your significant other? Don't be embarrassed, be honest, lets hear your stories! 
I should probably feel shame for this, but since I'm Croatian I naturally am attracted to girls with the same culturable background as me, and it just so happens that Croatian girls are extremely good looking, and an added bonus, they are tall!
I'm not a religious person, but there's a Croatian church in San Jose that we all congregate in... Going to church is a major chore for me, but when my ex and I broke up and I started looking for a girl to date, I decided that it was a good idea to to go to church to meet girls... Due to the fact that the girls were so hot, it was well worth it.. So I went to church without any intent on praying or doing anything religious, instead all I thought about was the women that attended that said church.
That's how I met my wife... She thought it was great that I attended church, but weeks later I had to break the news to her that I hated going there... She wasn't very amused,
Here is a pic of the both of us, we've now been married over a year and it's been great for the both of us. It's all about being open about everything and not hiding anything.

I met my fiance over eight years ago...... While we were both working at wal-mart. she worked in the toy dept and I worked in garden. We will be married in under 2 months.

I was introduced to my fiancee by a mutual friend a little under 3 years ago. We met face to face for the first time at TGI's for late night happy hour. And our 2nd date was to Game 3 of the A's vs. Twins game in '06, where the A's clinched the series. Fast forward almost 3 years and we're engaged and plan to get married sometime next summer.

so one day... labor day of 07 I believe it was... she came to DnB (where I work) with her sister. she was sitting at table 661 when i noticed her. I said to my coworker "Hey, that chick on the left is way hot!" then she left.
my coworker came up to me later and said "Hey, help your girl." and there she was standing at the bar wearing a wearing white shirt and blue jeans.
she says to me "can i have 2 shots of stoli chilled?"
I say "no..i can only do one drink per person..... well, why don't you sit at the bar.. its more fun!"
and it worked! she sat at the bar with her sister and we talked for a while. Then she asked me for mango juice, which I thought was extremely strange. I love that stuff.. but not many bars were carrying mango juice. so I laughed at her.
I had to have her after that night! (thats another story though)

Ed (Ed@EQTuning) and I met one drunkin' night in Davis. I was there touring the school as a high school senior (still underage I might add). And he was a Freshman @ UCD.
We met outside a frat party that had just been broken up on Russel. I walked up to him and asked if he knew of any after parties and all of us (my girls and his guys) ended up chilling in his dorm room. And the rest is history...
