Yesterday I had a slight lunge at a stop light. Goes like this, Light turns green, starts to roll, the you let off for whatever reason, then back on throttle and it bucks. This doesn't happen but once in a blue moon. I hate it, I guess that's driving in traffic.
Seriously, operating the gearbox, not only increases car control, also makes for a much more pleasant ride. An agressive drive becomes so much more smooth and controlled. I seriously believe everyone owes it to themselves to be familliar with proper gearbox operation. Day to day driving will net in decreased wear on drivetrain components, increased ride comfort. Sprinted driving nets increased car control, throttle response, and overall thrill.

 

w00t, I don't have to deal with the lame *** Subaru 5speed anymore... Driving my 6speed is sooo much smoother and nicer.

i would be curious to know if it is in any way related to the fact that i also suffer from the 02 wrx clutch shudder

 

i have severe dashboard earthquake clutch shutter when cold and have no gear problems
