Pulled over for exhaust

Basically I just got pulled over for a greddy ti c and received a fix it ticket. Anyone know what what I can do besides a different exhaust? will this be a future issue? This happened over in Hayward pretty much across the street from GST.
Thanks

I just put on the silencer last night. It was pretty easy. I just carefully lined up the holes with the allen wrench.
