Meh, still won't be getting the x bone. Already have 3 ps4's on preorder. I wonder if scalping will even be viable at this point, there are so many consoles available for preorder on amazon, I find it unlikely people who want it won't be able to get their hands on one come launch day.

I DO want titan fall though, on PC

Talk about a quick about face! I think this was inevitable with the PS4 being $100 less and having none of the MS restrictions.

I'll be picking up a PS4 once the price comes down some. The small amount of gaming that I have time for is reserved for Gran Turismo and since the new one is coming out on the PS3 that should take care of at least a year of gaming for me

Gamestop actually stopped taking pre-orders in store for the XBone because they wouldn't be able to meet the demand. But, it's also due to the limited supply MS will have on hand. Sony, on the other hand, has a much bigger supply of PS4s so pre-orders are stilling being taken.

As for the XBone, I'm glad they got rid of the DRM and used game fee/policies, but the always connected Kinect is still a deal breaker for me.

Its also $100 more, but that is not really a big deal if you think of it being spread out over 6-7 years of having it.

The fact that they even tried to roll out DRM and used game fees is a deal breaker for me. Then add their ego filled responses to the backlash. I cant support that mentality.

At least they realized they messed up and tried to fix the problem.

We will probably never know if they went "oh damn, people really hate this huh? maybe we should change it" or if they went "god damn mother frackers, i guess we have to change it, stupid whiny kids"

But either way, at least we don't have to deal with the initial crap.

You can figure out what happened by just watching that.

It's not like the reason they fixed the problem was to please customers, it was to save their own asses.

F* Microsoft for pulling that crap, they can eat a big fat dick.

Supposedly pre-orders are up over 100% since yesterday. Whatever their motivation... it worked... for now at least.

Not like I'm gonna rush out an buy a $500 console anyway. The only thing I use a console for is so my 5 year old girl can play Dance games. She can do that with whatever. A year ago I was saying I'd wait and buy the next xBox so she could use Kinect for the dancing games, but I'm a big bag of NOPE on that now.

I was using the Wii, but haven't bough the last couple generations of dance games... We'll see how long she's happy with playing them on youtube via the Blu-ray player and not caring that it isn't scoring her. Damn I'm cheap sometimes

"People" in general though seem to have received the news of the xbox "one-eighty" well.
