They are backup copies of either the electronic or paper forms of the service manuals. Under US copyright law, the buyer is entitled to one backup copy of any materials bought for non-commercial, personal use. This applies to everything from music to video games.

 

I may or may not be the guy who was making copies at the UCKK meet a few months ago for fun and giving them away for nothing. I may have even made a couple extra copies today... Yeah come to think of it I did. Send me an email and we'll talk bout' it.

By the way guys, I had a buddy print out all the service bulletins for me last week. Not much... just some stuff about emissions and engine noise testing and inspection.

We can publish this stuff so if anyone wants to host it I can send you copies.

BTW I like the ranch chicken sandwich.

If you make a copy yourself perhaps. I'd have to look over the law again, but I doubt you can reproduce en masse. I'm almost sure it refers to (one?) personal copy. This isn't wishywashy recording artist law, ya kow Heheheh, maybe its still legal if you get it off of Kaza

Even churches need permission to reproduce lyrics in worship service bulletins... always cracked me up: Even worshipping God has copyright laws
