not trying to pick a fight...we're all way too mature for that..but just discuss this (if you feel the need to of course) in person. With out all the distraction of the intarwebnet...

And did you not see that I wrote I do know that no one was killed in this case? But my point is should we look 'the other way' only when it happens? That would be like it's okay to steal as long as you don't get caught.
I see your point Porkchop, how her family might take it. But I did not come out and say bunch of trash about her and blah blah blah. If this were to happen to my family member. Sure I'll be very sad about the accident. But I also realize there is NOTHING I can say or do to change about what others think.

I wasnt trying to pick a fight either dude, I try to get along with everyone on the board, but if I feel something wrong was said I will say it, but I will never get into a fight over something said on the board.

Wow. Just wow. iBlueVirus is totally right. Stealing is ok if you don't get caught is the perfect compairison. If this chick was driving a Civic, every one of you would be flaming her ***. Instead, you are flaming the one guy that called it as it is. She is an irresponsible driver that is lucky to be alive, as well as the innocent bystanders that she almost killed.

It is EASY to go 80-90 on Vanden, especially at night, it is a good place to wring out a car, if you can handle it. I just recently moved but lived in the ONE subdivision off of Vanden near Alamo for the last 3 years. Just down the way on Peabody a couple of Airmen went into a canal a year or so ago and died. It's like the bermuda triangle for cars...
From reading the report, it looks like everyone was probably wearing their seatbelts, as everyone seemed somewhat ok considering the speeds.
When things seem hairy, I back off, or turn off my playstation II. :-)
