WRX Crash Makes Local Newspaper
Check out the article:
http://www.thereporter.com/Current/N...ily070303.html
The driver is married to my brother-in-law's younger brother.
She is lucky to be alive. The broken femur could've severed an artery. To top it off, they could've been smacked by the train after rolling the car.
I'll reserve my comments since she's family, and we're just praying she gets better soon.

that's one of the most heartfelt, sympathetic things i've heard anyone ever say. I'm glad you feel for the condition of the people involved in the accident
I hope they get well soon.

Thanks for everyone's concern. It was obviously a dumb mistake on her part for driving beyond her limits, but we're glad she survived it.

I drive up to my personal limitations, no further. If something seems hairy, I back off. Sure I have drifted my front LSD equipped 6MT WRX around corners at 100+, but I can control and recover from a slide.
These people that don't know how to drive them are the ones that are killing our insurance rates.
You should see the number of WRX's up at the boneyard in Rancho Cordova. They must have 20+.
I do feel for the driver and passengers though. I wish them a speedy recovery. The driver was being really selfish to do that with passengers onboard though.
Just my $.02
