ok now i know its bs because those off the shelf octane boosters don't increase octane like they say they do. research has shown (and yes i will find some links) that they hardly do anything

I've tried them all... The only one that ever seemed to do a damn thing was the prestone 0-60 booster but it uses MMT. $8 at kragen... $5 at wallmart. I ran two bottles a tank for a little while. I was worried about long erm effects of MMT on the engine and I still needed to pull timing and boost to avoid knock.

This new concentrate is on a different level all together. I'm supprised so many of you won't even entertain the idea.

I did in fact start this thread too early... I'm still working on test data. Please dont give up hope... there is an octane god and allthough he's laughing at California, we will prevail! Give me some credit at least for even trying to find a way to fix this problem for more than myself. I'm not octane challenged anymore... my probs fixed... but alot of you and your SUBU's are still in need. It is for you I'm trying to get the good stuff.
