Just curious what you guys think.... esspecially the UTEC tuners out there.

If I told you there was a way to run 93 octane gas without hassle for an extra $7.50 per tank would you run it all the time??? I know I would.

I may have found a way... easy and safe

You may have found a way? Xylene or toluene?

And don't say 2 gallons of 100. We can't get that conveniently either!

I called some people I know in the racing industry when I found out that 76 doesn't sell 100 at the pump anymore.

This stuff shall remain nameless. I've sampled it and I can purchase it 50gal at a time. I'm thinking of buying it and bottling it and selling it grey market in 16 ounce bottles. I would only make just enough proffit to make it worth it. Not trying to rip anyone off.

It is not octane booster... it is concentrated unleaded racing gas. It will raise the octane of 91 to 93.4 when you mix 16oz with 16gal. It's safe for cats and o2 cesors and lowered my EGTs 100degrees (after the turbo).

I've got some on the way that is is mostly spoken for between me and a some pals. I was just wondering if anyone else would be interested. Only trying to help the rest of the octane challenged tuners out there.

I'm happy to get some in the hands of guys with heavy mods to test it out. My car is running better than when I put 5.5gal of 100 octane in per tank. WITH ONLY 16OZ! This couldn't have come at a better time.

And I wouldn't put just anything in my tank without knowing what it's called and what's in it. Just because it raises your octane doesn't mean it isn't going to eat a hole through my gas tank.

I know... That's what I said. Who wants to help me test it? UTEC users are esspecially invited because with our cars tuned on the ragged edge all the time with built in knock detection it will be easy to see the difference and not just rely on a butt dyno. I can only talk from mine and my brothers experience. My car is knock free and boosting really fast running my 93octane map and my brothers 487RWHP mustang's knock at high boost is gone. It really works. I of coarse will hold no liability as with any one who sells race fuel. But now that I can't run on 100 at the pump... this will me my daily fuel.

Ash

BTW: it's made for unleaded smog legal engines... unlike toluene (which still works good too). And I hate having to put a gallon or two of paint thinner in my tank. Just messy and anoying. The reason I won't name it is cause I don't want anyone to go around me to get it. If too many people call from CA to order a drum of this stuff they might get wise. They specifically said they're not not alowed to sell in CA. My pal buys it and ships it to me alot at a time. It's just a well developed race gas from a racetrack in BFE. It's all over the east coast already. Just another good gas the state won't let us get our hands on. I can't believe they stopped making 100 unleaded. What will they have at T-hill now???

Well...

a.) most racers in CA would be interested

b.) you aren't going to "corner the market" on illegally importing something into california.

c.) no one in their right mind would use it if they didn't know what it was and could do some research on their own.

d.) 55gal barrel = 7,040oz = 440 16oz "doses" * $7.50 = $3,300 per barrel

Which means that's insanely expensive stuff, or you're taking a huge profit. The most expensive octane boosters I can find are <$1,000 for a 55gal drum.

e.) Just PM me what the heck it is.

Or could it be...

http://www.klotzlube.com/support/techsheets/KL-451.pdf

DIRECTIONS:
Compatibility: Use with unleaded, oxygenated (MTBE) pump gasoline. Will blend with petroleum oils and synthetic lubricants when mixed as directed.

Mix 1 gallon of HiTRATE Racing Gasoline Concentrate to 9 gallons of hi-test unleaded pump gasoline. This will yield an octane rating of 103 to 105 depending upon the purity of the pump gasoline. This octane level will provide excellent results with compression ratios up to 11:1 to 12:1. 100 octane aviation gasoline may be used to produce octane levels of up to 110 plus. Jet changes are sometimes necessary when changing octane or base gasoline brand. A gasoline’s specific gravity will alter fuel velocity and performance. Take several plug readings then adjust timing and jets accordingly. Shelf life is extended when stored or resealed in the original container.

1 gal. can $22.30
5 gal. can $76.06
30 gal. drum $356.01
55 gal. drum $597.83

It is extrememly expensive in quanity. But I can only get it in quanity. I'm not trying to corner anything, I thought I could help other guys like me get their hands on un-obtainium. It's just race gas... really really good race gas. safe, effective, and made in the good'ol USA. $7.50 includes about a dollar for me and half a dollar for the bottle. I don't have to do this, and I can put it together anytime. I don't mind sitting on it cause it doesn't have a shelf life as long as you keep it out of dirrect sunlight and agitate it every now and then. I'm getting enough to run on for a couple months. Then I may or may not order more. It all depends.

I can buy a 55 gallon drum of 100 ocatane for 300 bucks.
