Will Cat DP pass smog?

You can never replace your cat in CA with one other than the OEM cat...

So it doesn't matter, anything other than OEM is illegal already.

Yes, your car will pass smog with the hi-flow catted DPs out there like the TiTech.

The original converter is shown to be defective by emission tests, the OBDII system or the converter is physically damaged, and the converter is no longer covered by the OEM vehicle emission warranty (generally 8 years or 80,000)

i was wrong on teh 60 its 80k

then yes you can get the OBDll compliant one

See CARB is what pisses me off about import cars.

You can go get a 50 state legal turbo kit, supercharger upgrade and make 600, 700hp in your Cobra/Corvette and still be 50 state emissions legal and fully catted.

No way in hell are any of the import tuning companies going to go out and get CARB stickers for their products...

Of course, I bought my car new and it was catless 2 days later
