Will Cat DP pass smog?

Hey everyone. Would like some feedback on people who have bought DP with cat's, or people who know about this subject. I'm trying to decide whether to buy a DP with a cat or without one. Thanks!

yeah i don't have to smog it for another 2 years. I was just wishing that I don't have to put the stock back on to smog it if the catted Dp would pass smog. Sometimes you just feel lazy. haahah

aftermarket dp with cat still does not pass the visual inspection you will be failed
it has to be stock equipment unless you find a shop that will over look the fact that its a aftermarket part. i heard the high flow catted pipes do pass the sniff test

With. You plenty of extra power, no signficant difference fron noncatted and you get to avoid dumping huge amount of unneccessary pollutants into the air. Oh, and no horrible gas smells at stop lights.

I have actually studied the emmision laws VERY carefully. This is not my understanding. Read here http://www.racingbeat.com/emissions.htm It just needs to be "CARB Exempt" I will not argue with you about it though. In my understadning if the orginal unit fails you can replace it. That is all, have a nice day.
