My wife went down to SF on Friday to have a girls night with a bunch of her cousins.

Sat around 11am she cant find her keys. Looks everywhere inside her cousins appt, in all her overnight bags, looked in/around the car and found nothing.

Her cousin ended up giving her a ride home on Sat. We drove down today to pick it up with the spare key and it was gone. We double checked the street signs and the only ones are for Wed street cleaning.

Called the cops and they did not have any record of it being towed for any reason. So the cops came out and filed a police report. They said it was prolly taken for a joy ride and will be abondoned once it runs out of gas.

Called insurance and started a claim. I should hear back from them tomorrow.



So if you could keep a look out for a 2003 Eclipse. It was last parked on Indiana St between 20th/19th.

from what i read, They went back to town and got their spare key, went back to S.F. and the car was gone so im assuming they never found the keys.

 

I wonder if someone found the key......at the party?

 

Dose seem like the missing keys go hand in hand with the missing car.

 

Yeah def sounds like someone took the keys and went outside and found the car..find out who was there

Naw guys it wasnt a party. It was my wife and six of her cousins. They went to a bar and then all crashed at their cousins place (where my wife was parked out front).

She didnt bring her keys out with her that night, so they were lost sometime before heading out for the night.

My wife thought maybe she dropped them in the trunk when getting all her stuff out. So that was the first place we were going to look once we get there today. But hard to open the trunk to a car thats not there haha

If it gives you any hope my sister had a car stolen from SFSU and the cops found it a week later with an empty tank of gas and no damage to the car. it was a 95 accord.
I have also had a 92 integra gsr stolen from valley fair mall. also a 99 civic si stolen off of my front lawn in SD. So I know how you feel. F*** THIEVES!

call oakland PD my firefighter buddy got his car stolen and the san mateo county sheriffs suggested that cause apparently most cars stolen lately in the bay area end up somehow in oakland. worth a try! lemme know how that ends up.

dang a 92 GSR! thats a rare car. Most stolen cars are found in oakland and richmond city. A couple of my friends cars have been stolen in the last year or so and they have been found in those city's. It's worth a try to get a hold of the local PD.
