Who's been to Ocala, Florida???
And is there anything relatively fun to do or to go? I'll have a car so I can drive around. Damn business trip has me out there Wed-Fri. Folks there told me it's over 90 degrees and 90% humidity and to bring an umbrella b/c there's thunderstorms. Freakin great.

There isn't much to do there, My mom lives in Gainsville and I've been to ocala a few times. Quite a few rednecks in them there parts. The weather isn't miserable right now, it's been mid to upper 80s with around 65-70% humidity, I define miserable as my trip to malaysia this month(leaving next week for 5 weeks, bleck!). High 90s with mid 90% humidity, lows in the low 80s(yes above 80 degrees in the middle of the night). There's really not a whole lot to do, there's the Garlits Museum of Drag racing, some pubs and such, but the only really interesting thing to see is Silver Springs. A glass bottomed boatride through the springs is pretty damn cool. And that's about it

no joke, dead as hell here. But I did see the huge ranches for the horses.
I did manage to find a Thai restaurant, pretty good. Oh yeah and there's a tropical storm or something making its way up the gulf. They started talking hurricane this and hurricane that...but it shouldn't make landfall until Saturday somewhere around New Orleans. Man, can't wait to get back home.
