I had a crack on my windshield sometime back, the cracks getting worst. Does anybody have any experience with wind shield replacements? Any recommendations on where to replace it? My insurance does not cover wind shield replacement therefore it'll be out of my own pocket.

Ouch, your best bet is to call around and get prices.

 

I did mine through www.89glass.com cuz i was cheap. They'll take 100 dollars off your deductible. I had a $250 comprehensive and only had to pay $150 out of pocket. I've had the glass in for about 4 months now, no problems, no leaks. There's a bit of distortion on the curvy parts of the glass and i notice more glare then with oem, but nothing i can't live with. They contract out with local shops so quality will really depend on who they go through.

there is a glass deductible that it is different than the regular deductible. In my insurance it is $50. so the windshied cost $50. One time they had a special they would cover the deductible so they picked the $50. Not bad.
