Where to recycle old tires ?
Anyone know where I can legally recycle a pair of old tires for free ? Thanks in advance

Does your waste management offer to pick it up? I get to dispose 2 sets a year.

I always get notices n flyers for free recycling junk but none of them mention tires.

Give them a call and find out. They might actually take it, but don't advertise that service..

Santa Clara's Haz Mat website has a list and it shows that there's retailer taking them for free: Firestone in Milpitas. Here's list: http://www.sccgov.org/sites/deh/Haza...antifreeze.pdf The list is a bit outdated, so you might want to call them first.
