as far as air tools IngersolRand is a pretty good brand... I work at fastenal (fastenal.com) and i get great feedback from customers about em.. for hand tools craftsman is the way 2 go. Lifetime warranty. just my 2cents

Yup... I have been using Craftsman tools for a looong time. The ratchets get better if you pop the snap ring out and pack it full of grease right before using. I did that and they have all been nice. I have 2x .5", and a pile of 3/8" and one time I used a friends - was wondering wtf was wrong with his - it felt all loose and weird. The grease just makes the ratchet mechanism work better and for some reason never slips.

Snap on is really nice but insanely expensive and honestly Craftsman has never let me down. I've been using these Craftsman tools for over 15 years now and I have only broken one ratchet - it was replaced for free.

hes saying craftsman designs their tools to last, since they know they have to replace them if they break, so they do it right the first time.

the big print sockets are so nice

just dont forget that if you're going to be doing spark plugs on a suby you need a TW that'll go down to 15 ft-lb :banana:
