If you don't use gloves, and if they still make it, Castrol Super Clean waterless and toweless hand cleaner is the bomb. You just put a little dollop of the paste in you hand and work it around. it solidifies and takes any oil or grease alone with it.

The Costco in Vacaville has DeWalt kit, two pair of gloves and protective eyewear for $7 or $8. Bang for the buck.

That stuff is awesome. Basically white glue and lotion (at least it seemed that way).

+1 latex for liquids, mechanix for wrenching.

"toughing it out" is for morons who think they are being a man.

Latex doesn't stand up to the rigors of wrenching, and it sucks (read: ruins them) to get your Mechanix gloves saturated with fluid.

I spilled oil all over my mech gloves and they soaked it up like a sponge. I had to toss them out cuz constant exposure to oil is not good for you. (read: cancer)

Yeah... That is why I wear gloves. Don't want to run risk of injuries.

I use nothing about 95% of the time. I like the grime. I have soap..

But on occassion I do use nitrile gloves and or mechanix gloves. mechanix gloves actually saved me some serious pain the other day. I need to find a new pair. They don't make the ones I have anymore and that bumms me out.

I bounced a die grinder with a wire wheel off my pinky at full lock.
