When did (classic) Xbox become the abandon child?
I've been too busy to play video games. That's why I don't bother buying an Xbox360 even though it looks awesome with awesome games.
So on rare moments, I dust off the classic xbox.
When was it completely abandoned by the industry? classic xbox games are now bargain bin only!
Any recommends what titles to pick up if I run across them?
I just got Colin McRae 2005.

It was pretty much completely abandoned by MS when the 360 launched, and the rest of the industry moved on a few months later. So, its been like a year or year and a half (I'd guess) since the last xbox game.

bargain bin FTW!!!!!!!! i cant believe it! i love it for ps2 and xbox most games $3-$10 most.
Colin McRae 2005= best xbox stage rally
Rallisport 2= best rallycross and car physics when CMR car control is sloppy and loose, the Rallisport car control is spot on, like e-brake around a turn 1 inch from a rock every time. Rallisport is worth $50 IMO even today. Graphics are very good. Not soo good for stage rallies though
basically they need to put Rallisport 2's car physics into CMR 2005 stages or levels for a game better than DIRT

i dont know, theres much more connection between you and the ground in Rallisport2. It turns and brakes kind of like an arcade, but the thing is you can e brake 1/2 the hairpin then power out of the other and it feels like how it would be in real life. You can drift around like you would in a real car on gravel, one twitch of the wheel and youll be sliding and linking up drifts around corners. And an awesome sense of speed, it takes finesse to get a good lap time. FINESSE! lol
You wouldn't be disappointed by it at all. Its what made me buy my XBOX...
the only games i own for XBOX is that one, Colin McRae 2004 2005 and Forza
I also spent many hours at Circuit City playing the demo before i had to buy an XBOX.

You can hack it, put in a bigger hard drive, copy games to the HD, and best of all install Xbox Media Center. This is free software that lets you watch video and listen to music from the hard drive as well as from any share on your network! Its great being able to watch any video from your PC directly on your TV without having to hook anything else up.
