Ooh, this one is hard for me. I worked A/V at SJSU between 1992-1998, so I saw everyone who came through the Event Center, the stadium, and the Student Union. I also got a lot of free tickets to stuff in the Bay Area during that time because of friends in the Stagehands Union.
I got to see all the Almost Acoustic Christmas'
I also worked palooza when it came to the stadium in 94. Pulled this from Wiki. It was an awesome lineup.
I guess if I had to pick a few that were memerable...
Brian Wilson at Mountain Winery. He did the whole Pet Sounds album. EPIC.
At the SJSU Event Center
Rage Against the Machine. They had 4 pits rolling and the steel I-beams were literally vibrating.
Cypress Hill. Enough said.
Eric Clapton did an AA convention. Was not a public concert. I still have pics from the rafters. I sat over the stage and looked down on him the whole set.
Pearl Jam - Eddie shocked himself on a poorly grounded mic and stormed off stage. hahaha.
Beastie Boys. Awesome.
The artist formerly know as the tiniest purple man on earth. We had to put purple gels on ALL of the lights within view of the Event Center.
Bruce Springstein. My claim to fame is that I yelled at the Boss. He was coming in through a small loading door that was supposed to stay closed. I said, "Hey you can't come through there!!!" The door raised up and the Boss was standing there. I was all, "Oh **** sorry, Mr. The Boss."
The Cult came to SJSU. They thought they were playing the Event Center for their last North American concert. They were actually scheduled to play the Student Union ballroom...
They were PISSED. Nobody promoted the concert so we had to go out and run around campus and hand out free tickets and drag them back. There was probably 50 people in the room. They played a great concert.
I saw SO many good bands and performers. The hottest, by far was Shirley Manson from Garbage. SO hot. Sooooooooooo ****ing hot. I was talking to her in the green room, most likely drooling and my boss came and pulled me out. "Dude, I need you to do something for me RIGHT NOW... sorry... sooooooooooorry."
The coolest was Melissa Ethridge. The dyke we like! I shot the breeze with her for like half an hour over dinner. She was totally down to earth.
Whew, it's good they have a partial list of everyone who came through other wise I wouldn't remember half of them.

I hear Slayer is epic when in concert. I missed a slayer show that I was supposed to go to years and years back and I regret missing it to this day!!!
I forgot to mention the Sepultura concert I saw in the mid 90's! It was the Chaos AD tour. OMG, that show was INSANE! I knew every song by heart so it made the show all that much better. You know how it is when you know the song and love it... It makes the live show come to life.

OMFG how could I forget the Pink Floyd concert at the Oakland Coluseum in 94??!?!??!?!?!
I got tickets from the Union. Glad I didn't work that one because there was like a billion semi's for all of their equipment and staging. Literally, like 20+ trucks. TONS of stuff.
SUPER awesome concert.

Yeah, so true, knowledge-free prejudice can make us miss out on a lot of cool things in life! Some of my first memories are of me as a kid listening to Floyd records, but then, I grew up with hippies. Anyway it's pretty amazing music even taken without all the stigma. I can't watch The Wall without getting some pretty major chicken-skin going on. There is some crazy **** in there.

Dude, you have no idea. They craned speakers up all along the rim of the stadium. THE WHOLE RIM.
Here's a taste.
This REALLY takes me back. http://www.brain-damage.co.uk/concer...pril-21st.html
It is one of the few stadium concerts I have been to, and certainly the most amazing.
Oh, I also saw Paul McCartney in the stadium at UC Berkeley in 1990. My dad worked for Visa and they were sponsoring the tour so we got awesome tickets. We were in like the 7th row. They had Linda turned WAY up on a cluster of speakers that was near the back of the stadium. She was terrible.
The pyro's during Live or Let Die almost made me **** my pants.

Oh, I forgot because I was high for two years straight, but Faith No More and Mr. Bungle at the Filmore.
Great shows and... the trips to and from the shows were always... interesting. I got left behind once and had to sleep at a construction site under a tarp.
I am still a little gay for Mike Patton.
EDIT: HOly ****!!! They're back together and touring!!! Okay, no Jim Martin, but still. BTW, Jim Martin lives in Castro Valley.

Muse before they got popular on the radio. It was at the warfield I think. They play the best live show out of any other band ive heard. People stopped the floor multiple times for them to come back out to play and they did. To me its who can play the best live. I don't think bands like metalica even play live, just recorded crap.
Stevie Nicks- both times I have seen her (but especially with Chris Isaac in 2007ish... he is a funny guy and amazing performer!)
Brad Paisley last year at Shoreline- he always puts on a good show, but last years was especially good!
Sage Francis at Lawlor Events Center last April- I just about shat myself when he started rhyming to "Closer" by NIN, which brings me to my final pick...
NIN at Shoreline last May. Trent Reznor... I want to suck your dick. (Can I say that on here?)
And yes, I realize I'm going to get picked on for some of my choices, but I'm a girl so I can like sissy music!
