I got the car back this afternoon.

Very happy, it’s nice to drive it again.

They repaired almost everything. They also disconnected all the additional stereo parts, so that will all need to be reconnected.

I do have a few complaints:

They didn't clean the car at all; the thing is fitly (I really wish I had been able to get it to Santa Cruz!).

I left the floor mats in the back seat and they didn’t even put them back!

There are glass shards on the floor.

The lights for the temperature controls were not reconnected, or they don't work.

The window grinds as it goes down, it sounds like they left glass fragments in the mechanism.

The alarm does not seem to set and I cannot locate the reset switch under the dash (did they even put a new one in?)

The ignition and the left door lock were re-keyed, but the right door and trunk were not??

Beyond that everything appears to be ok. I will have to make a much closer scrutiny of it tomorrow at some point.

So what does it look like was the point of the break in? To steal the whole care? Just stuff inside? The stereo? Was your stereo the factory one?

Sorry to hear about that man... sigh. This is what I hate about the car scene.
