I live in danville also, and I have 35% front and limo in rear (5%?) and I have yet to get hassled for it. Cops around us are lazy, the only reason they are gonna pull you over is for speeding, then since they are missles they tend to write up everything they dont see as a fix it ticket.Good luck getting your tint done.

I've had 15% on everything but the windshield for over a year, and I havn't been hassled for it yet (knock on wood).

CHP will eventually own you for tinted fronts.

They got me (in my wifes stockish wagon) at 7am on southbound highway 5 in the middle of nowhere. Not speeding, not doing anything, luckily it was marked "correctable", otherwise the fine is circa ~$150.

15% on mine (I think) and CO plates. Everyone in the world talks about getting tint tickets, so it must be pretty common around here. Hopefully the CO plates will prevent me from getting any trouble though.

hehe, yeah i know that havin out of state plates, helps, but too bad i live in cali, and my car is registered under cali.. anyone have a picture of a silver sedan with 35 all around? im kinda liking what you guys say about 35 fronts and maybe 20 in back. is there a way where if a cop pulls you over, he'll just give you a fix it ticket and not a fine? i'd be pissed to pay 150 for the tint and then 150 for the fine... kinda defeats the purpose.

Out of state plates help only if you're here for college, and your car is still owned by someone else in that state. If you get pulled over, and have been living here more than two weeks, they will fack you for fines and registration.

It's a retarded argument too, try taking a handgun to NYC and saying it's legal because you're from CA.
