It's the best option. Its rarely late. Don't have to deal with other idiot drivers.
I used to take BART every day. I'd fall asleep pretty much every morning and wake at the station before mine. My brain got used to hearing... embarcadero. And knew to wake up.
Get time to read the paper or a book. Etc.
Soon as they pull their heads out and get wireless going it'll be sweet... but then again you'll have more jack asses on the phone right in your ear.
I vote for yes on internet no on phones. haaa.
