geico is actually a good route to take if you have multiple points on your record. But if you have only a point you can still qualify for good drivers insurance and I would say AAA isn't bad.

I pay $1080 a year for my 05 wrx with AIS. That's with 1 point and 2 traffic schools on my record.

I shop around every year and AIS always comes out on top.

come on folks...

if you are gonna give your insurance costs... dont forget to say what is on the policy?

do you even know what your deductible(s) is/are?

how much injury coverage do you have?

do you have the bottom of the barrel coverage?

Price is always going to vary. Depend where you live, any body else/cars on the insurance, your record, coverages etc., also the car. It might be an sti but theres different packages and insurance companies look at everything. If you or anybody on the forum have insurance related questions I'll be glad to help, just pm me. Oh and I work for Farmer's just FYI

All i can say is from personal experience with my 2.5i and my VR6 GTI stay away from State Farm. Gti got hit by someone in a parking lot. Bent the front suspension on the front passenger. Bent the strut, spring, sway bar and control arms. Koni, eibach and so on. State Farm wanted to put refurbished OEM parts on it. Fought them for 3 months, involved 2 adjusters at the shop twice to get that one done right. Subie got hit by a piece of something on the 101 and State Farm shorted me on hourly rate, still suing over that one. Have a good friend who works for state farm and his house is insured by them, but has Hartford on the three family cars. Tells you something. Mercury and Hartford requires factory parts for replacement. I know most of us are AEM, but something to consider. Enough for me to tell State Farm to stuff it
